Ways to prepare for transport

Make sure alarms are off.

Before driver arrives, shipper should check and make sure the alarm for the vehicle being shipped is turned off and won't go off during transit. Any remote for the alarm should be given to the driver.

Inspect the vehicles during pick up and drop off.

When the driver (transporter) arrives to pick up the vehicle, he/she will inspect the vehicle for any damages, dents, scuffs, scratches and mark it on the BOL (Bill of Lading) and have the shipper sign off as to agreeing with the condition of the vehicle on pick up.

When the transporter drops off the vehicle, shipper or their designated agent should carefully inspect the vehicle and match it with condition report at the time of pick up. If there are any damages occurred during transport, shipper must mark them on BOL in designated area. If the shipper fails to mark the damages on BOL at the time of drop off, claims will not be honored. NO EXEPTIONS.

Make sure not to load any items in the vehicle and only leave 1/4 tank of fuel.

Personal items are not recommended. If you do decide to put some belongings, be sure to let us know in advance and make sure the total weight does not exceed 50lbs. Also it is recommended that you leave no more than 1/4 of fuel in the tank. Carriers get very picky due to gross weight limitations by department of transportation.

Make sure to have cashiers check, money order or cash on hand.

When the transporter arrives, be sure to have money order, cashiers check or cash on hand as not to waste drivers time going out and ordering it after delivery. Shipper will be notified in advance how much he/she owes at delivery.

PLEASE NOTE: Drivers will not accept personal checks as a form of payment at delivery. NO EXEPTIONS.
