Q. How long should it take to ship my vehicle? 

Weather, traffic, road conditions and other unforeseen factors make guaranteeing the delivery date impossible for all transportation companies, however during the order process, we will provide you with a firm delivery estimate. One thing West Coast Auto Transport can guarantee is that our team will be working very diligently to make sure your vehicle is delivered within the specified time they quote you as well as keep you informed every step of the way. 

Q. What is the difference between an open and an enclosed carrier?

On an open carrier, your vehicle is exposed to inclement weather and road conditions just as it is when you are driving it yourself. On an enclosed carrier, your vehicle is not subjected to inclement weather or road conditions. Vehicles over a certain value are required to be transported via enclosed carrier. You may request your vehicle be transported via enclosed carrier.

Q.  Will you ship my car if it's inoperable?

If your vehicle is not operable at the time of transportation, an inoperable fee of $150 will be added to the transport cost. 

Q. Should I be present when you pick up or deliver my vehicle?

Yes. We request that you, or a designated person, be present at pickup and delivery. Our driver will conduct a complete inspection of your vehicle with you present and note all present dents, scuffs and damages. This is called the Condition Report (CR) and is very important to complete before our driver loads and delivers your vehicle.

Q. What method of payments does West Coast Auto Transport accept?

We accept all major credit cards, ACH, apple pay, pay pal etc.

Q. When is the payment required?

Down payment is required when the order is placed, remaining balance is to be paid to the driver at the time of delivery. Customers may choose to  prepay in full in advance.  

Q. Is my vehicle insured during transport?

Yes, all vehicles are fully insured with no deductible. Damages caused by West Coast Auto Transport are covered when transporting cars. Damages caused by nature will not be covered. West Coast Auto Transport will also not cover any items in the vehicle. Customers are encouraged to remove personal belongings from the vehicle while preparing to ship the car. 

Q. Will you pick up and deliver door to door?

West Coast Auto Transport  provides door-to-door service. When transporting cars, carriers will get as close to the delivery address as safely possible. 

These guidelines will vary and are situation dependent. To ensure timely delivery when transporting cars, it is best to plan in advance. Proper planning can result in a fast and efficient delivery.
